code-prompt

Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-10

These terms govern your use of code-prompt at code-prompt.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

The service

code-prompt takes a structured intake form describing what you want to build and produces a written engineering specification — scope, stack assumptions, edge cases, file layout, testing expectations, and acceptance criteria. The output is plain text you can paste into any coding workflow. Backend processing uses a third-party language model (currently Google Gemini) under the hood.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Account & security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

Your content & ownership

You retain ownership of the intake content you submit and the prompt output you receive. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit that content as needed to provide the service. We do not use your content to train models. You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any code, designs, or descriptions you submit.

Output disclaimer

Generated specifications are produced by a language model and may be incorrect, incomplete, biased, or outdated. You should review any generated specification before acting on it. code-prompt is not responsible for code, security flaws, or other consequences resulting from acting on the output without review.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The service depends on third parties (Cloudflare, Google, Clerk, Stripe) and may be impacted by their outages or rate limits.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access for violations of these terms, non-payment, or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the dashboard or by email. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of your principal place of business as listed on your account, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that state.
